October 7 & 8, 2010,Thursday & Friday. Leaving Pennsylvania to travel to New York State with a sunny day and temperature 54.We have reservations at the KOA in Herkimer,NY. Located north of Cooperstown,NY on hwy 28. Arrived about 4pm and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the "Crystal Chandelier" restaurant. After a good nights rest we had the other Hayes' for breakfast and headed out for the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Van & I took the country drive to town and spend alittle more time than it would have taken on hwy 28 but it was well worth our time. Enjoy the photos of our ride and we wish you could have been there. Once we arrived in Cooperstown, we decided this would be a good place to live until the snow fell. Two story homes w/small and large porches and lots of shops and restaurants to visit.A view of the lake with many sail boats is located very convientant to town. A small town feel but larger than you think. And,of course, the Baseball Hall of Fame is time well spent. We had a pleasant day and would do it again.
